Military service is mandatory in China, every adult male has to serve
so invading china on the ground ain't happening
china doesn't have to invade the united states they can shut off the power grid, and hack US satellites, this is how modern warfare will be fought
not like world war 2
Breh, no, they cannot
You and ol boy ain't read what I said. If the United States was engaged with a planet in
conventional warfare, we would come back to the contiguous US and stage the fight. They would have to come to us, and our geography is the first hurdle the world would struggle with. These were the parameters of the hypothetical-- I didn't mention nukes, cyber warfare or even the advanced weaponry that is classified (and some that is declassified).
There are two oceans surrounding this country, and we have the world's most powerful Navy, and the world's two most powerful air forces (USAF and US Navy). The Chinese population would have to actually REACH us for their numbers to matter, and they could never do so because we have water superiority.
The entire world has 12 carriers COMBINED, and we have 11 on our own. Not to mention, ours are more advanced and actually work. Once we sink their boats, they literally have no way of even reaching the country. Then the Navy and the Air Force dominate the sky and the war is dead on arrival.
Now if y'all want to talk cyber warfare we can, but that's not the point of my original comment, because I was talking about China so-called flexing with weak missile launches as if we're supposed to be scared of that.
