Songwriting is where the money is and that's why you see and hear a lot of artist try and buy their way into a songwriting credit for their songs. It's also why artists like Mariah Carey and Celine Dion are worth as much as they are compared to other artists.
He dropped a multi-platinum album & did 2 different major tours in 2017-2018. That's sounds like a big 2-year period for any artist.
