I think if anything, they did him a solid by giving him that horrendous contract.

He can’t stay on the court and he’s regressing. It’s business
Yeah I can't feel too sorry for Chris considering he got that huge contract that everybody knew he wouldn't have received if not for a backdoor deal that was made before the trade. That's the consequences of getting that fat contract. Stabbing him in the back would've been not offering him all that money and letting him hit free agency.

lets see...

probably could have retired in LA, but left on his own will and with a legacy of leader of underachieving Clipper squads.

got a huge UNDESERVING bag in Houston. kept getting hurt when it counted. relegated to load management status.

But HE CRINE about how he got stabbed in the back??

:ohhh:

Clippers were capped out and couldn’t compete

Rockets nearly had a title two years in a row

I think they beat the Raptors in seven

Chris, in his mid 30s already, got a fat paycheck from the Rockets. Business is business, he wanted the most money he can get from the Rockets and they traded him when they wanted. Dude is no longer a top 10 player, but getting paid like he top 10, he thought he was going to finish his career in Houston?
Said this over and over again. Had he taken less money when Morey & Fertita warned him about staying competitive by not paying him the max he would still be in Houston probably with a ring or two but he wanted as much money as he could get his hands on. There’s nothing wrong with that but if you aren’t living up to what you’re getting paid in any job you get fired :manny:

Tell you what. Go get a job and tell the person hiring you, that you dont want the most money possible. Tell him youll take less so your co worker can get some more. Lol
