Lmao ummm no. Newark, Irvington, East Orange and parts of Jersey City are beefing in their own world

Cats from those cities and NY have consistently come here to do 'business', but the gangs down here made an alliance to keep them out. Lasted for a minute, but got broken-up last year.

How do they come up with these stats? Austin has nearly 80 murders this year which is more then Atlanta but Atlanta made the list.
Austin’s at nearly 80 murders this year? That’s a record for Austin. I don’t think Austin has ever posted more than 50 murders in a calendar year. Almost 80 murders is astronomical for Austin standards.

:picard:

The reason why Atlanta made it but not Austin is because of this little thing called Per Captia. The list in the OP is murder rate per capita, where they based the amount of murders in a city per the population of the city. Because Austin city limits is on the cusp of 1million people and because Atlanta’s city limits is around only 500,000 at best, Atlanta has the higher per capita murder rate because it’s only half the size of Austin while having almost the same amount of murders as Austin. Your chances of becoming a victim of murder and violent crime are significantly higher in ATL, than in Austin. Even in a year where Austin is having a historically high number of murders.

Kansas City, MO.
This ain’t a St. Louis thing. I’m talking about Kansas City being that high too
white folks used "look at Chicago" so much during Obama's run that it had people thinking Chicago was the murder (rate) capitol. KC been a top ten murder rate city for years. It's just not seen as one of the more "blacker" cities so people don't use it for political, social, and racist agendas.

The N.O
It’s nowhere near as terrible as it was in the late 80s through the 90s and early 2000s pre-Katrina but still very dangerous.

You had guys walking around that were machines with legitimate serial killer type numbers of bodies under their belt.
Ya they gentrified the city dudes ain't as reckless as they used to be

They think it’s the capitol cause it has the highest raw total of homicides. Most people aren’t intelligent enough or care enough about stats.

You got cacs in cities all over America that still think NYC is crime ridden.

MFs need ALL DAY programs. Pay daily to clean up the city, renovate houses, plant trees, just anything. Entrepreneurship through contracting and bids. It’s enough money to make great changes but ideas are stale and most people hate to see others doing as well or better than them, so won’t even consider elevating. Ol “how can I lead if no one is beneath me?”

No programs at all. Parents have to do a better job raising their kids. Do that and I guarantee you there will be a 50% drop is black homicides.

Also im not going to lie every time I see the need for something in the black community it makes me think we as a group are literally special Ed.
