Everybody want to lead at some point

At the very least grow

He's only going to regress there in GS

Unless he wants to come off the bench

Sixth man of the year Ginibolli type role

Doubt it tho

You nikkas are so pathetic and disgraceful it aint even funny.

They came out and shot like shyt in Game1 and still beat the unholiness outta the Cavs. Now instead of continuing to hedge your bets like yall were doing at first, yall done said "fukk it :yeshrug: " and gave up on the rest of the series. nikkas praying for some shyt that 2 years away and shyt.

Yall weak as fukk. :mjlol:

Klay to the A...book it. Schlenk knows what he's doing

fukk it, why not! We need somebody to score from the wing. Klay is a top flight defender too. But my only question is, how will he fare as the #1 guy? He hasn't been "the guy to stop" since he was at Wazzu. I trust Schlenk tho. I can't bear another year seeing Millsap being our late game option

Thats the thing though - maybe he doesnt want it easy like that. Again his comments after game 1 seemed almost like he wasnt thrilled w how things were going, particularly with Warriors winning so easily AND his role being so reduced in the process.

Mentality and confidence are everything to a shooter. He might be struggling cause he feels like he went from 2nd option to 4th...which to be fair, is exactly whats happened.

Translation: I need Klay to leave this juggernaut so they wont be as good :to:

This is similar to Lavar Ball where people are literally creating a version of Klay Thompson that doesn't exist in reality. Ironically they do the same when they call Steph "humble". Klay simply isn't wired like your Tracy McGrady's who would leave his cousin to have his own team. I also think they do this on the court as well. To be honest, people like Chuck think Klay Thompson is a number 1 and can create his shot but I think ironically, CJ McCollum is actually what people think Klay Thompson is in terms of being able to create his own shot. CJ's defense isn't nearly as good but offensively I think he'd do better without Dame than Klay would without Steph and Draymond Green.

I do think if he leaves it will be for money reasons with the Lakers giving him the Max and GS just not wanting to pay the repeater tax.

BTW, I hate to bring Astrology into this but Klay Thompson is an Aquarius. They tend to be more selfless people and operate out of the state of the collective group. Aquarius (Sun in Detriment) is the opposite of Leo (which is ruled by the Sun).....and we all know Leos have the most healthy egos. Aquarius sun is considered in detriment because the sun is all about the self and Aquarius is concerned about others and groups of people.

There's exceptions as always (and a further natal chart analysis would be needed....for example Michael Jordan who is an Aquarius but has Mars the planet of action in Leo....he's driven by greatness and pride....but you could always see he didn't particularly have a healthy self esteem with him being cut from Varsity in HS, not being picked 1, he felt he had to prove himself)......but Klay fits the nature of an Aquarius very well. Also take into account, Klay's pops is also an Aquarius as well. Take into account Magic Johnson is a Leo as well who had an ego big enough to tell everyone to call him "Magic" as opposed to Ervin. Klay's just out here living like his pops :yeshrug:Sometimes we truly our parents' children.

Klay content to be both superstar and sidekick

It's acceptance speeches for Curry, accepting a lower profile for Thompson.

"Klay doesn't mind," Warriors assistant coach Luke Walton said. "I don't even know how much Klay wants [the attention]. He just loves the game of basketball, loves coming to the gym, getting his work in."

Walton has seen just about every relationship dynamic in the league, beginning with the nadir of the Kobe-Shaq feud during his rookie season with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2003-04. He has never witnessed a togetherness like this Warriors team has shown.

"It's very rare," Walton said. "I don't think it exists in most places in the NBA."

Those who know the Thompson family say Klay's demeanor is more like his mother, Julie, than his garrulous father, Mychal. Klay's playing style bears no resemblance to Mychal, a 6-foot-10 center who played 13 years in the NBA. But one trait Klay inherited from his dad was an ability to subjugate his ego. Mychal was a former No. 1 overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers who came off the bench for the majority of the 4½ seasons he spent with the Lakers at the end of his career. The Lakers went to the NBA Finals four times while he was there, producing two championships.

We getting Blake and john blaze:banderas:

Hassan, Klay, and Griffin. Title lock 18-23:HassanUMAD:

DO IT PAT :damn: :damn:

To put an end to this shytty thread

Not saying that its not true but if he was really unhappy, i doubt he would say it while being in the finals :manny:

Does basically the same stats as the prior year indicate he sacrificed alot :sas2:

Kd missed a lot of time during the reg season tho. That could be the reason why his stats didnt drop off from last year :manny:

Durant got hurt the end of February.

Klay's FGA went from 17.3 before the all star break, went up to 18.5 after the break. Not that much of a difference.

I'd like to see Klay move on and forge his own path rather than swimming in the tainted wake of others

But I dont think they'd even be affected much by it :manny: They're 13-0 with him playing worse than Barnes did.

Another confused Individual

Part of the reason I made this thread (along with the general fact that its an interesting and emerging side narrative stemming from these Finals that the Coli hilariously ignored for 24 hours) is that I think its much more likely he's gone if they lose, which I said on page 1, which is very possible.
