Tbh I thought Ghostface was the better rapper on OB4CL though stylistically he didn't come into his own yet, not least until Wu Forever partially and Supreme Clientele completely.
But Raekwon rebounded and took Ghost's spotlight on that album imo.
As for the album, idk if it's a poor man's OB4CL. In a way yes. But as polished as OB4CL production is, Ironman's is even more so, and some of the songwriting on there from Ghost in particular is stuff Raekwon wouldn't be able to write. I'd say it's less focused as a mafioso album if it can even be categorised as such. More variety imo. Production preferences, meanwhile, are subjective so if you don't like them you don't like them.
But Ironman for me has the quality most definitely, and is influential production-wise. Definitely deserving.
