The problem with a lot of you trash posters who hate on SirBiatch is that you dimwits don't read. If only you stepped outside the box and gave shyt some thought, what I'm saying wouldn't sound so crazy.

Ghostface himself says Ironman continues where Cuban Linx left off :mjlol:
Vibe

In that same link Ghost says Ironman was rushed. And you can tell, which is why some tracks are mediocre in comparison.

Even if Ghost hadn't said it, I'm not the first person to say Ironman has a similar vibe to Linx. It's pretty obvious. Others

Does "Ironman" = "Cuban Linx 2" to you?

Only Bulit For Cuban Linx... Vs Ironman - UndergroundHipHop.com Forums
Ironman Is Cuban Linx Part 2 To Me - Wu-Tang Corp. - Official Site of the Wu-Tang Clan

An article that doesn't agree with me, citing crime mafiaso thriller vibes on Cuban vs Blaxploitation on Ironman. I agree, but I think that's not enough to say they're wildly different.
Ghostface Killah’s Ironman vs. Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… Which Is Better?
[Music] Ironman – Ghostface Killah [1996] (Great for explaining why Ironman was cool but flawed and didn't really bring anything new to the table, unlike Supreme Clientele)

SirBiatch is the receipt king. I can provide receipts to prove or even disprove my points. Coli posters can't do either.

Dumbass, you just posted a link that totally discredits any talks of a sonic link between Cuban Linx and Ironman. And then you go ahead and say you don't agree with the article but you agree at the same time :russ:

The major reason that people made the Cuban Linx/Ironman link is because they both featured Raekwon and Ghostface. There really is little sonically or thematically similar between the two.

Donkey, you truly are a mental midget. Sit ya dumbass down. You get exposed in EVERY thread.

The similarities between the two albums are really few and far between.

I'm sure you could argue that songs like Wisdom Body would fit on Ironman the same way 260 would fit on Cuban Linx, but tbh the whole aesthetic is different.

Cuban Linx is a very cinematic-focused Mafioso/street narrative. The premise is extremely clear from the outset. Sonically it is more grand and features a distortion and manipulation of soul samples and leans towards other instrumentation too, whereas Ironman is much closer to the soul roots from which it samples, leaving you to some extent more of an introspective look into Ghost at times than you'll ever get from Raekwon on Cuban Linx.

There's no shyt like Motherless Child on Cuban Linx, or a Wildflower or All That I Got is You or Camay.

Ironman is more honest if anything. It's actually more Wu-Tang foundational than Cuban Linx too, more emphasis on the 5%er teachings and one's positioning in society, but also in the context of drug dealing and what have you.

The nuances are hard to describe but easily identifiable.

Notice the morons clowning other people's opinions never have any insight of their own :jbhmm:

"The cheap mans OB4CL comment is foolishness." How so?

he'll deflect or go mute
I would've never seen this post since you didn't quote or tag me... I dunno how I could deflect something I wouldn't even see.

I can read, but it looks like you're reading too much that really isn't there. Ironman continues where Only Built 4 Cuban Linx left off in terms of the Ghost + Rae combo along with the Wu sound. OB4CL and Ironman are both albums which feature each other (Ghostface featuring Raekwon and Cap; Raekwon featuring Ghostface). The subject matter and the material sampled would not make for a cheap mans anything; they're different.

he just said that they're different in approach and subject matter to an extent, which is true

so by that alone it cannot be a cheap mans OB4CL. a more applicable accusation would go to an album like It Was Written or something like that.

Exactly this. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, It Was Written, Reasonable Doubt, etc. etc., are all albums along the same mafioso life-esque shyt. By saying Ironman is a cheapmans Only Built is like saying Tim Duncan is a cheap mans Jordan. Both the greatest at their position, but not at all interchangeable considering the fact they play a different position in the same sport. It is in fact foolish for anyone to make a claim like that, but even more foolish for someone to deny either one of them as a great.

Others seemed to understand my insight (apparently I had none) even before I replied. But yeah... keep up the reading breh

got receipts?

So when Ghost says it's a continuation of Cuban Linx, and that several people often compare the two together, that doesn't mean anything?

If they're so wildly different, why would people say the things I provided in my whitney.

Trust me breh. I understand what you're saying. and you have a valid point. I'm just pointing out that your comment of "really few and far between" applies better to Cuban vs Supreme, not Cuban vs Ironman.

You already exposed yourself and said you agreed:

They're different, and you know it but your pride won't let you show it :mjcry:

The only real link is heavy Ghost, Rae and Cappa involvement. If Raekwon verses were magically erased from Ironman, nobody would be comparing it to Cuban Linx.

You didn't tag me either when you said my comment was foolishness. I had to return the favor. I knew you'd see it anyway :lolbron:

Please lay off the basketball analogies. It's a pet peeve of mine. nikkas claim to know hip hop then start reaching for basketball first chance they get. Did Duncan and Jordan ever rock cyphers? :mjlol:

You dummies can't even look beneath the surface. Can't do the math yourselves so you rely on authority figures and sheep to explicitly tell you things.

It's all good, though. That's why I'm here. Funny how I was the first and only to go for receipts while you, the so-called bright one, still hasn't.

Way of the world :banderas:

You're an idiot who can't see that my position is arguable, just like Lord Mecca's is arguable. And I was even doing some work for him when he should have provided whitney.

I think you need to see that checklist again. You've really been slippin.

don't get me wrong there are similarities but I don't think it's a successor album or anything

I think as others have pointed out, that stems more from the synergy of Rae and Ghost more than anything

hell in some ways, Liquid Swords has more similarities with OB4CL than Ironman does tbh

lemme check that link you posted

ok so the Vibe one is where Ghost says they're continuing from where OB4CL kicked off and the other thing I saw was Camay was a more mature version of Ice Cream, which I can see.

let's see what else there is
