I refuse to ackowledge those versions even exist. I remember paying EXTRA to replace my scratched copy of Ironman because I couldn't easily find a version with Soul Controller. I had to ship that bytch from Japan lol.

OBFCL without Northstar is like sex with no Orgasm, anticlimactic and frustratingly anticipated
It was all I knew for years breh. :yeshrug:

Cuban Linx, Ironman and Supreme. All classics.

This whole narrative that Ironman is some Cuban Linx-lite has to stop though. The albums are thematically different and have a totally different vibe. Ironman is more soulful and personal than Cuban Linx. Other than the fact that Ghost and Rae team up on alot of the tracks, I don't even see how Ironman and Cuban are that similar.

Also, alot of cats really sleep on the brilliance of 260. I think it's Rae and Ghost best team up joint. The storytelling is God like MCing. "Kicked down the door in the spot 260, 2L, I heard they had O's for sale..." Fvcking crowd damn near died when they actually decided to perform it live:

Then Rae..."We walked in, both of us looked like terrorists, masks on, second floor dun...yo, I handled it. Kicked in the crib, the whole sh!t looked graphical, natural. Fvcking a white b!tch? ACTUAL". God like MCing.

There's no way Ironman and OB4CL are comparable. The cheap mans OB4CL comment is foolishness. OB4CL is in my opinion the best hip-hop album of all-time. Ironman isn't there, but it's like a good top 10 (and of course classic).

260 is really the track when listening to Ironman in the early days blew my mind. That was (and probably still is) my favorite track on Ironman and is wayyyyyy too underrated. That shyt is just ridiculous until this day. 260 is what made me realize that Ghost could really really flow... and I started making a transition to Ghost in-time for Wu-Tang Forever (which has multiple Ghost murders), and the nail in the coffin the forever great Supreme Clientele.

he just said that they're different in approach and subject matter to an extent, which is true

so by that alone it cannot be a cheap mans OB4CL. a more applicable accusation would go to an album like It Was Written or something like that.

but if you're talking poor man's in terms of quality strictly, then a LOT of albums, even great ones, are a poor man's OB4CL

You didn't even say "The cheap mans OB4CL comment is foolishness" :russ: Clearly I was talking about someone else but you let desperation get the best of you

:mjlol: Your desperation is hilarious. Please get a life and stop stalking me.
:francis:
You said morons breh. Plural. Then you referenced a post that @Lord Mecca made responding to @Billy Ocean

The problem with a lot of you trash posters who hate on SirBiatch is that you dimwits don't read. If only you stepped outside the box and gave shyt some thought, what I'm saying wouldn't sound so crazy.

Ghostface himself says Ironman continues where Cuban Linx left off :mjlol:
Vibe

Ask Ghostface, 26, and he'll tell you that Ironman begins where Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx left off

In that same link Ghost says Ironman was rushed. And you can tell, which is why some tracks are mediocre in comparison.

Even if Ghost hadn't said it, I'm not the first person to say Ironman has a similar vibe to Linx. It's pretty obvious. Others

Does "Ironman" = "Cuban Linx 2" to you?

Only Bulit For Cuban Linx... Vs Ironman - UndergroundHipHop.com Forums
Ironman Is Cuban Linx Part 2 To Me - Wu-Tang Corp. - Official Site of the Wu-Tang Clan

An article that doesn't agree with me, citing crime mafiaso thriller vibes on Cuban vs Blaxploitation on Ironman. I agree, but I think that's not enough to say they're wildly different.
Ghostface Killah’s Ironman vs. Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… Which Is Better?
http://rereadsandreviews.com/2014/05/11/ironman/ (Great for explaining why Ironman was cool but flawed and didn't really bring anything new to the table, unlike Supreme Clientele)

SirBiatch is the receipt king. I can provide receipts to prove or even disprove my points. Coli posters can't do either.
