Ironman's in some ways a poor man's Cuban Linx. Ghost was too much in Rae's shadow at that point. Also, the beats aren't as good on Ironman in some cases. There are tracks on Ironman I never warmed up to.

I gotta agree with most of this. While I would say Ironman is a classic just off the era it was released in and the tracks it had,I never fukked with Ironman like I did OB4CL ..

Ironman is pretty close to flawless tbh, sure it isn't OB4CL, but there's only 1 album that's on OB4CL's level and that's the GOAT Liquid Swords

why is Soul Controller not on my CD? I think down the line the sample was uncleared and issues with that resulted in the track being removed

I have Marvel as the closing track instead, which is far better tbh

It's pretty much consensus vote that Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Ironman & Supreme Clientele are classic albums. While I don't think you could, you MAY be able to argue out Ironman, but I still don't see how that's possible. There are many classic albums... don't treat this as it's some list of 10.

Both Only Built 4 Cuban Linx and Supreme Clientele influenced a wave of rap... which is the only reason why I say you MAY be able to argue Ironman out of the picture - but still Ironman was just some shyt nobody else would do... and it's beyond dope... and in my opinion a definite classic as well.

We don't need to talk about Immobilarity, it was a miss and everyone knows that.

But with all of that being said, Ghostface is the most consistent emcee of all time per album efficiency. Bulletproof Wallets original would have been a 4.5 and Pretty Toney is a solid 4. He continued his 4/4.5 streak for some albums after that.

FishScale is already a 4.5, but I've heard some say it's his most complete work and I can see why tbh
