forget Drake. Whatever Hov says to Kanye will start a war.Having a Kendrick feature is better than not having it but the downside is that the circus comes to town. Reactions to the verse - which according to Rob Markman is NOT a diss - will inflate whatever macho shyt he says into a Drake reference. Do I think Pusha knew the GQ article would have this type of impact? Sure. It's good press for an album that will need it sales wise. But the downside is that more people are talking about a feature than your album. And given that Hov is gonna be on it too and we know he likes addressing shyt once a year (Super Bowl, lawsuit, Drake fukkery, Meg/Roc conspiracies, etc)...I wouldn't be stunned if that becomes another thing that stirs discussion.

Damn, I wonder whyKendrick's verse ain't even out but timeline already going crazy![]()
Everyone I know, even those that don't listen to music like that, hit me like "you heard the news? kendrick coming"Kendrick's verse ain't even out but timeline already going crazy![]()
I haven't been this excited since PrinceKendrick's verse ain't even out but timeline already going crazy![]()
Even my dad is hyped for the song...he only listens to funk and jazzEveryone I know, even those that don't listen to music like that, hit me like "you heard the news? kendrick coming"
This nikka is a phenomenon, its like at the bay when he performed last week, he had the entire city dancing to his songs outside of the stadium![]()
Nah bro Hugo is def a beast. But I just don’t like how nikkas try to act like Pharrell ain’t shyt but a salesman and Chad was the REAL talent behind Neptunes. That’s wack. Other legendary producers would even disagree with that. Pharrell had vision and he was an artist. It’s just unfortunate that Chad wasn’t. Also. Pharrell has a level of SOUL that Chad doesn’t. He’s also heavily influenced my MJ which is why u hear that in damn near all his RnB productions. shyt to me. Neptunes RnB >>>> hip hop production. Same wit Timbo. Peep this. Tell me this isn’t classic Neptunes sounding shyt. And he’s doing it by himself. Side note. He should’ve kept this for himself.I do.
But Chad plays like EVERY instrument. LOL!! I've seen P play keys and make joints on the spot.
But on their classic beats, Chad was the one knocking out those chords and basslines. Dude was playing live guitar and horns on the first Clipse project and Kelis' debut and second joint. Dude did rock albums solo with Kenna. Playing every instrument, like how Dave Grohl did on the first Foo Fighters album. It's not about minimizing P's talent. It is about giving respect and due to the dude people always overlook. Hugo is a beast.
Pusha basically already said he’s on it.Hmm... my understanding is actually the opposite and Jigga man is NOT on the album
Hope the NaStradamus verse is dope though...
