Push is saying def jam had them on ice. None of this has anything to do with Drake. It might be marketing talk to blame the delay on Drake but people aren’t gonna push back on push for saying this.

The timelines don’t match up.
Timeline does match up... I don't know how you do but you're always wrong or saying stupid shyt, it's an accomplishment at this point.

I wasn't even thinking Drake had anything to do with it

Other industry people are kinda saying Pusha is bullshytting.

It was the Clipse being cold, not kendrick and drake.

Kanye blowing up GOOD MUSIC is the reason Pusha T was done at Def Jam…not Drake. This nikka is lying :laff:

U one of the goat posters on here but imma have to disagree on Malice. I feel like he deserves more credit than that. Son always spoke from a more grounded perspective which is why I always preferred him to Pusha. I mean Jay is FAR removed from that life and damn near only exclusively drops a verse when it’s with a drug related rapper at this point.

Malice has had totally fine moments in the past - this fugee la la verse was not one of his better moments. But it's def Push who has been overselling mid to wack lines for over a decade now, and it has reached comical levels. With those same lame braids for 30 years, and that same faux Camp Lo voice, and those same Don Rickles/Rodney Dangerfield coke punchlines. The best thing to ever happen to him was Drake's insecurity allowing him to be baited into a battle. The ultimate cocaine hustler... who couldn't even get royalties from McDonald's for writing one the most recognizable jingles of all time. That Cocaine Minstrel is such a buster.

What is the consensus on Lord Willin vs HHNF

HHNF>>>>>>>>>>>

I'm sorry but Lord Willin kinda aged with that whole poppy type of sound. HHNF got this weird grit that I didn't appreciate for the time because of no Chad Hugo, but that subtle boom bap cooking crack in the kitchen sound of HHNF just aged like wine.

Keys Open Doors still gets spins.
