Warrior, Jesse Ventura, Brock Lesnar, and the World Wildlife Fund all beg to differ.
Seriously the WWF has a long history of getting bodied in the courtrooms :heh: Brock threw their No-Compete clause straight in the bushes and proceeded to become the biggest PPV draw in the history of one of their rivals :dead:

World Wildlife Fund is a whole different story. And Punk is nowhere close to having the level of influence of the other guys you mentioned.
It has nothing to do with influence. You think Warrior got his because someone in the legal system was at Mania 6 :heh: It has to do with the letter of the law. Punk owns his name and likeness, point blank. IF he is suing, I highly doubt it's because he doesn't have a case.

I'd love to know which part of his career has given anyone to believe he isn't about his business?

This is the dude that held up the WWE for a world title run and a raise :heh:

Hating? :pachaha: This fool is throwing tantrums because people posted his wedding photos. And then he wants to get mad because he gets treated like a celebrity but campaigned hard to be the face of the company. I have no reason to hate on someone who is so bitter and resentful and doesn't give a fukk about the fans.

:what:

It's one thing to make a public appearance and get hounded and a different thing to have a private event and have photos leak of it. If he wanted his wedding to be public, he would have made it public. Dude is entitled to a private life too.

And it would also be stupid for the 'E to bash Punk seeing how he's the longest reigning champion of the modern era.

And you don't think that they'll be upset about giving someone so much exposure, a long reign as World Champion, and a run as the top face of the company only for the same person to abandon them right before the Road to Wrestlemania period? And on top of that, sue them? :usure:

If WWE punishes AJ for what he's doing, Punk'll just serve them with a retaliation suit.

The guy's just demanding his due royalties. WWE would be smart to give them to him.
I can't blame him for doing so but tread lightly

I don't know shyt about anything but what could happen :manny:

The thing is that NO ONE knows why Punk left and the details of his contract. So for all we know, it could have been Punk left abruptly but the WWE still valued him as an employee and decided not to punish him with the small chance of him possibly coming back in the near future.
