Exactly. The vast majority of men are not multimillion earning CEOs who are 6ft plus and in shape. They’re normal regular dudes yet they still have girlfriends, get married, have kids etc. It’s been like this since society was formed tens of thousands of years ago. If women only picked the top 10% of men and left the 90% alone the human race would probably be extinct by now. I don’t get how that ridiculous 10% thing caught on and why so many people believe it.

That's facts! Men and women never had a problem with finding a mate even when they were picky...but with the advent of social media, being picky (which was the affliction of a few and even then only for a period of their lives) became the affliction of many, now I'm not gonna say half of the populace, but definitely the catalyst for a lot of break ups and divorces.

Young, broke, single men have caused civil unrest multiple times in history...Bolshevik revolution, French revolution, collapse of the Weimar Republic, and dozens of other examples. I don't think the US is that far along, but there are definite undertones.

Article should've been titled differently and carried more nuance...but I'm starting to look at CNN like Fox News, so I'm not surprised.

Money and education fixes things but we know so many examples of people with both who lack empathy for the next man. Someone with all the power and the resources in the world yet refuses to spread love just as dangerous as the young man with nothing to lose, if you ask me.

What does that even mean?

It's easier to gain social skills and develop a personality than earning specific money most people will never obtain.
