I'm not really that old but the world has changed so much. I remember when the Bronx was a burnt out hell hole. Now they're gentrifing Riverside nikkas are walking around with 1200 dollar IPhones on them. Granted generally speaking In the last 10 years the cost of living has negated any rise in wages and people without financial literacy is more fukked up than they were pre the great recession. But standards of living has increased, Again those 1200 a year Iphones tell the tale.
