I have a 4 year old boy and 1 year old girl. Both are very bright and cute and use it to their advantage. My 1 year old can count to 10, and my 4 year old can do abc's, write his name, count to 100 all that. I'm the proudest dad ever at their vocabulary and achievements. my advice:
#1: ABC Mouse.com if no one has said it...it's not just a commercial, it's a way of life. They eat it up and made them fall in love with learning.
#2: I changed my eating habits a while ago and it was passed down to my kids very effectively. We eat turkey, chicken, and fish, with occasional steak for the protein. Instead of chips and all that they loveand fruit.![]()
They might get a cookie or two but any small sugar dessert at bedtime only. Ain't gonna run around here driving me crazy all dayDamn bananas and strawberries do enough.
#3. I as the male am the bad cop. No way around it....I embrace it but do it right to make sure they know Daddy will do whatever for them but disrespect to any one even each other is not tolerated. I come home and they are acting up and it's....but I also play with them, read to them, and show them new experiences as much as possible. Coolest Dad ever, but don't play with him is how i'd be described
