jane campion is an underrated master at directing. this movie is amazing without being a showoff. all the different actresses being the same woman at different ages all seemed like they were really the same person. i didnt have to suspend my disbelief. i think it was originally meant to be a new zealand miniseries on tv but the cinematography is better than most movies shot on much larger budgets.

As someone who was a live watcher for the first five years, watched the sixth season daily and binged the seventh season. Good God did this show fall off. Just plot holes and dumb decisions all over

Don't even get me started with that "Blood Giant" episode.
