Knew this about the Pacer fanbase for a while. Remember cringing when Spike Lee went to Market Square Arena during that Knick/Pacer series in the early 90s. Not all of them are bad, but the racists sure like to be heard 
whats the excuse for teams like Detroit, Atlanta, Philly and Washington having poor attendance then??
sure indianapolis is a pretty white city, but those other cities aint. Why aren't all the black "fans" there supporting those teams??

utah went to back to back finals with cacs like stockton, hornacek, foster and ostertag
utah still selling out with one of the blackest teams out there, only hayward and kanter the only non blacks getting playing time
While theyres some of that probably can someone explain to me why its ok that black people dont like the nhl because they have nobody to identify with but if white peoople dont like the nba for that reason their card carrying klansmen?

The teams you mention aren't any good. People are having problem with indiana because it is the 3rd best team in the NBA.
