McGregor aint gonna last because he's just not that good. He has personality but he already lost to Diaz who was a journeymen fighter. I think Aldo takes out this dude in their rematch and then he'll be runnin shyt again with his boring ass lol. Before McGregor came along people were sayin the same shyt about UFC with the creating stars shyt.

Cowherd is right and wrong. WWE's ratings have dropped like hell but this is still a business that's going to sell out the Air Canada whatever arena in back to back nights this weekend. One show is headlined by Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe. Who the hell knows who these guys are? Nobody but us. It still sold out in record time as they all do, all NXT events end up selling out.

The other show is headlined by old ass Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. No John Cena, No Taker, no Sting, no HHH, no Rock. It's still a sellout.

Royal Rumble will have a huge crowd in the Alamodome.

WrestleMania despite whoever headlines will have 80,000+ fans. How many UFC events can get over 80,000? Has there been one? McGregor and Aldo ain't doin 80k+ unless it's in Ireland.

Nobody knows who Woodley is. Nobody knows who the women's champ is. Ronda will get killed again and go away. Probably go to wrestling ironically.

I'll take comments. Tell me anything I said that was inaccurate in my post. :manny:
Aldo? as in the same Aldo that knocked out in 13 seconds?

McGregor just broke records in Vince's precious Garden and used Cokeboy's arm flailing walk :heh: HHH sat in the crowd like :mjcry: while a 155lb loudmouth run the entire territory and they ain't shyt they can do about it :dead:
Maybe he shouldn't bury someone when they start to get over then like he's done with every name besides Brock and Cena since 2002.

No one really wants to see Lesnar vs Goldberg again either. The ratings only showed great improvement when Goldberg first came back. For the times when Lesnar showed up and Goldberg made his second appearance, ratings declined and went back to the same awful numbers.

Johnny Gargano? Seriously?

With the right amount of marketing and hype almost any match could get people excited. Especially in an era where women are main eventing PPVs.

Only read the first sentance but I do. Those promos from raw last week worked me like a mofo

Hes not wrong, the rise of UFC is partially responsible for the decline of wrestlings popularity.

UFC isnt as big as hes making it out to be though. They can make new stars, but they only really draw big numbers with a few people now. Its not like how it was in 08-10 where the brand itself drew a lot of viewers.

Us Wrestling fans in general are easy targets and can be swayed to tune in to a product simply by dismissing the validity of what we enjoy on a major platform. It's worked for years, unfortunately it still does.

Even if it's just to see you lose or to have a talking point when we trash you or your show online after you kick the cage. It benefits ratings to kick at us whether the state of business is down or up in wrestling.

Meh. ...

He's just being a good little bytch carrying water for his network since UFC is the only thing that brings FS1 some semblance of ratings year round. He could care less honestly

LMAO at this. Aldo isn't beating Connor. Diaz won't beat Connor at 155. That's ridiculous to even say a two division champ(of two of the best in the UFC btw) isn't good or he's going to suffer some wild fall off at 27. WWE sells out but doesn't draw a fraction of what UFC gates does. And UFC has done a great job of continuously creating new stars. Chuck and Tito gone? Here GSP and Silva. Those two gone. Ronda and Connor? When they leave UFC track record shows someone else will come. WWE hasn't created a mainstream huge drawing star in nearly 15 years. They are just coasting on name alone

WWE is at a point where they don't need that 1 top guy like Hogan, Austin, Rock, Cena. It's become more of a group run thing now that the brand split has happened.

don't fool yourself. Vince wants 1 guy. Be great if he could have 1 on each brand.

Ideally, he'd have Cena and Roman on one or the other show each being a top guy.

THERE ARE NO STARS

people just watching because it's the WWE and hoping their favorite old timer returns. WWE isn't the NFL, it's not going to survive like this. They're making the most money they ever did on the LEAST amount of fans they ever had. This bubble were burst

This dude is so direspectful. If you're wrestling fan and you cosign his bs then you really shouldn't call yourself a wrestling fan.

The wwe can't make stars anymore because they're too stubborn and they don't want things to naturally happen. Not because they've lost the ability to do so.:aicmon:

Ex: Cm punk & Daniel bryan

I also noticed he didn't say a damn thing about Brock Lesnar who was pro wrestling star that went the ufc and pulled in some of their best numbers.:camby:
