Dude is one of my favorite rappers of all time and at the same time I don’t really love any of his albums… And I’m going to go ahead and say I really want an album from him in 2020

Meths the goat rapper with the worst discography. I'm still listening to him 25 years later but I never revisit his albums.

Tical is a classic though. His followups just never lived up to his potential. He could have been king of NY at one point.

4:21 is a solid album. The Meth Lab projects with Hans are so-so.

Meth has been on fire for the past decade plus. He's on a different level now, but most don't regularly listen to Wu enough to know.

Is Ticsl really a classic? I say this as someone that bought it 3x. Cassette. CD. And again when the CD scratched.

But it’s a 4 mic album. It’s probably the worst of the original 5 Wu solos. It’s fun to debate it with ODB’s solo, but Ironman, Swords, and Linx are all clearly a level up.

Tical is dope but to call it a true classic is warping the definition.

I still listen to it till this day. In fact, I've listened to it off and on more often than I do Liquid Swords and Return to the 36 Chambers. I only listen to Rae and Ghost's joints more. I love all of those albums too btw.

What Ghost did on that Stella track :banderas:

And this track is nice. Both Meth and Con did their thing. Woulda been better collab over a harder hitting track. These the type of drumless tracks that Griselda gets criticized for.

It’s not my favorite beat by any means but I really don’t get the drumless criticism on this one. The kicks are solid and the snare drum isn’t banging you over the head but it’s definitely there. I listen to this in the car about an hour ago and it didn’t sound light.

I just don’t think the beat is that special from the sample choice perspective, but the drums weren’t too bad.
