Man I've never experienced that shytI was always blessed to work in an all black office with black staff at my old job We used to joke that maybe we'll get a white dude in here in case of emergencies Never did though

Girlllll I use to work for H&m and one day they had me doing stock with these two lesbian black chicks. So we're talking and shyt and they get to talking about relationships. Then one of them is like "I wanna transfer to a different location where we get more white girls here" and the other one is like "yeah we get too much black girls here" so I'm like okayyy these people arent self aware because this conversation is happening between three black women. So then one of them is like "I don't like dark roast beef p*ssy I want some of that cute pink p*ssy" and then the other was like "word like I don't know why but black lesbians just look dirty to me and they got bad attitudes" and right before she could go any further I was just like "damnnnnnn ma, I thought you was a black lesbian too" and she just laughed and the other one was like "nah I'll date black girls but not any black girl" and I'm like "so you'd date any white girl" and she basically agreed and I gues the other one got wind where I was taking the conversation and just changed the subject and I'm cool with it cause I just wanted to do my work and go home. My boyfriend at the time said that he's heard shyt like that but he just moves on more black girls for him as he said.

So every year we have these once a year Quarter 3 "pump up/jock-jams" ass conferences.

They do it by division and I'm the only black manager in mine, but there are several black non-managers etc.

Every year (no joke) they have our executives up on stage trying to get us all "excited" for Quarter 3...the only thing a breh is excited for is the free lunch and time off the floor

Well after the powerpoint presentation they have these "games" where they give away $20 gift cards...and then the music starts

I swear this shyt has to be a fetish to older white men ...they always play the "newest" rap song with a dance and offer a gift card to someone to teach them how to dance...

A few years ago it was the Dougie and the schmoney dance..It's always brothers (and some sisters) fighting each other to get on stage and teach everyone how to dance on some

This last year two brothers went up and "offered" to show everyone how to Milly Rock and I swear it was the most uncomfortable I've ever been at work. I felt bad for them thinking that dancing at work while people clap and laugh at you is ever going to get you somewhere

So this is a lil different. The other day im sitting at my desk and one of the managers from finance comes by. We're cool and I see him at the gym regularly and chop it. Very cool white guy. So this mofo comes up to my desk and goes - "hey, so I was talking to the CFO and he wants me to go downstairs and collect rent from the tenant below (my company owns the building). I told him why send me, when they could just send you downstairs and they'd gladly give up the money."

I was so furious man - but this is my bread and butter and I had to bite the bullet. Am I bugging about this statement? I swear they don't even realize how innate it is in them!

Yup. They think we're all gangsters and tough or some shyt.
I get that mess at work all the time. They want me to go out and tell the drug dealers tryna scam on our wifi to get outta the parking lot. They want me to go work on the satellite dish on the roof in my good clothes.
They want me to work late coverin some other cac whos out sick, but then when they come back they get all the congrats for getting this damn mission completed on time.

They started in govt service back in the damn 70's and they STILL makin the same money they did back then!!

I recently had a discussion with a very successful black woman about why I have difficulty acclimating with white folks in the workforce or in general and I don't know how to be a Carlton or some co0n ass black dude. I don't fukk around with that gay shyt like them white boys be doing and talk that talk like they do. She said "son you will need to act like a co0n and shuck and jive for 8 hrs then be yourself when you get home, thats the secret for getting ahead. Its all a game". I thought that was some real shyt.
