Where's Azealia Banks, breh? :booklol:Twitter hasn't managed to end anyones rap career breh
no it isntFor anyone with a brain "Takeover" is infinitely better than "Ether" as a diss record
Could nas survive Jay and Carmen's relationship in this era?If Twitter was popping back then, would Jay still be around after the onslaught of Twitter fueled by a track as vicious as Ether?![]()
Nas did like half of what Stillmatic did 1 year later, Jay did about the same numbers i.e. he maintains a consistent fanbase, which makes it hard to "kill him". At the end of the day, the twitter/ig beef thing is all about # of fans and specially how many corny fans you have. Now Nas might have a lot of corny fans (still living like they are IllWill affiliates in 2001 on the coli) but that's probably not enough. You need that Drake, Beyonce etc levels of fans.
If Drake wasn't a person who does a million first week, he couldn't have murked Meek like he did. Same with 50 and everyone he was beefing with 10 years ago. Dame Dash would probably be on Kardashian levels on social media back then, shytting out 10 memes with a million likes everyday. Beans and them would run around and rob Nas's crew members and put it on WSHH. Knowing Jay's ways he would probably have signed True-Life earlier just for the attention![]()
Personally, this thread feels more about Nas surviving than Jay. Imagine a twitter beyhive full of Jay Z The Blueprint era fans.Could nas survive Jay and Carmen's relationship in this era?
I'm playing Yousa Hoe by Luda and saw this.:gurrrl:
