Could Liberia Ever Become The African-American Version Of Israel? (Should AA's Support It?)

Should African-Americans Support/INVEST (In) Liberia & Turn It Into Their Homeland?

Pan Africanism
Y'all always talking about running.

Why?

We deserve to live in America just like anybody else. This is OUR home.

I swear y'all be thinking about a utopia. Like it's so easy to pick up and move to another country.
It's hard to move to another state and stabilize yourself most times.

nikka how long it took you to get a job in America?

shyt ain't sweet out here.
Babygirl, what did I tell you about calling me "n-gga"? Only person that can call me that is my boo and you aren't my boo baby girl.

Atlanta is an AFRICAN AMERICAN Mecca, objectively so, it's literally famous for this reason, businesses, politics, education, media, we run it. nikka think thinks gays take away from any of the accomplishments stated above, why are you even in a thread about African Americans when you are Canadian and Jamaican? It doesn't even concern you.

I doubt it.

Aframs don't have good relationships with the indigenous people of Liberia based on what they did in the past. So, I doubt the people would trust Aframs.

I'd say Aframs in general, have subconsciously over time become much more similar to WHITE PEOPLE in their thought process, compared to other blacks in diaspora. And you'd see that when you compare returnee slaves from South American countries (and recently Jamaica) who returned to Africa and Aframs who returned - you'd see the difference. While the former blended in with the indigenous population and contributed in helping them their societies, with the expertise they gained from the new world - Aframs on the other hand subjugated the indigenous black folks and created a class problem.

Just compare what the Afro-Cubans, Afro-Brazilians, and Black Brits who returned to Lagos, Nigeria - to Aframs who returned to Liberia. The former helped in starting the Lagos renaissance and were mostly the ones who started the anti-colonial struggle. The latter laid the foundation for the civil wars that almost ruined Liberia.

Aframs need to detox first and embrace being African, over being American. And they would also have go over to Liberia and correct all the wrongs they did in the past, to create a level of trust, before anything. Jamaicans are moving to Ghana in droves and thus far, they've blended in perfectly. Ditto all the Afro-Cubans moving to Angola.

The question is is liberia worth investing in? Assimilating wasn't just about adopting people's culture for returnees it was about can I build a future in this country, where my descendants will be well off.

The level of elitism in nigeria differs from liberia. AA's, west indians also assimilated into Nigeria very well because there was an educated political indigenous population.

Likewise in Accra

No the fukk it isn't :dead: gays will always exist, Atlanta is just liberal enough to the point where they can be whoever. You also have to intentionally seek that sort of thing outside of malls or whatever. Not like 99% of the population are men in drag or anything like that :dead: and you having a passport and family down here means nothing to me. That pan Africanism is for the birds. We on that ethno nationalism shyt, catch up. And last time I checked, you ain't one of us. Unless you trying to do business with AA's, your opinion isn't needed.

Do you understand what citizenship is breh? You dont need citizenship to invest and build so why you use dual citizenship as an excuse is beyond me.

If you have the capital to build then you can build, if not then you wont. Simple as that.

Breh, of course I understand citizenship...

It's why I think it's a good idea. It gives you MORE than just business interest in a country when it's your country.

The chinese are investing and building...do you think they have any love for the African countries they're in. Or if things get wrong they just pack up and leave on some :hubie:.

Once more it comes to ownership and having a general interest beyond business.

It's about making a home and not being the arab in the hood owning the liquor store and going home to your nice house every night. While your customers face the challenges in their hood alone.

I'm sure the natives in Liberia, like the natives anywhere, would appreciate sincerity rather than "just business".

Dudes want dual citizenship not realizing theyd still be forced to pay taxes to America so in "building" an african country they are still funding systematic white supreamcy.

:russ:

You looking funny in the light...

Of course most things we do will support white supremacy for sometime now.

Would be paying taxes to Liberia at the same time and building that country up.

Atlanta is at the mercy of Georgia which is at the mercy of the U.S.

No real haven there.
