Music can be your passion and you can record in the studio but touring is absolutely grueling. I don't think you understand how tough it is on your body to travel city to city living out of hotels for months at a time.

I've been on tour as a DJ. My mentor is a famous DJ. It's mind boggling that anyone who's a BILLIONAIRE and damn near 50 would still have the desire to tour especially with kids at home.........unless they absolutely had to to maintain their lifestyle.

I don't think it's difficult to understand.

You don't need to be a billionaire to live comfortably and retire from performing.
A couple million and you could live off your income until you leave the earth.

However there are people who see that kinda money yet they still tour.
Why ?
Because they love it, which might be difficult for you to understand if performing for the rest of your life isn't a thing you personally desire to do.

Remove money from the equation and the idea of "living comfortably" and it's easy to understand imo.

Because you love performing, have you seen these old ass rock bands rich as fukk near 100 years old still touring? Bob Dylan has been on tour for 25 years straight. Have you seen the thousands of karaoke places around the world?

Now add that you make millions for an hours or two, these people grossed 100 million bucks for like 19 shows. Now you can take that 100 million and buy more buildings, donate more to protestors, help more people in Africa, send more people to college and invest in more to make more. All made possible from doing what you love? How does that not make sense.


It's like asking why do billionaire CEOs go to work at 8 every morning and work 12 hour days? Cause they enjoy it, not cause they have to. Add to that they make more money. Warren Buffett lives like he makes 400k per year and work 12 hours a day in his average ass Nebraska office and he's worth what? 70- 80 billion?

touring with a bunch of stage hands and back up dancers I'm all for everyone one is equal no one above another
