Claudia Treminio, a Los Angeles DACA recipient, called the stalemate a "wasteful attempt to appease Trump's racist base" and a "way to bankroll his corporate backers."

"We will not stay silent as President Trump and members of Congress use us as bargaining chips to build a border wall," she said.
oh yeah? feel free to leave :mjlol::camby: barking threats like you're a necessary presence. fukk outta here

No one's begging anyone to stay. But if you think draconian, clandestine deportations aren't a dangerous precedent then you living in la-la land. In my opinion, due process isn't just an American right its a human one. To say that people who just got the fukk off a boat and changed their names can be legal, but a kid escaping a natural disaster or genocide can't be is not only foolish and inhumane it goes against every bullshyt principle this country "says" it stands for.

There is a reason why in sci-fi dystopias have elements of ethnic/national/racial/religious hegemony. Almost every intelligent person on earth realizes that's not really a good idea.

That’s all it is. New n*ggers...

Republicans are wise to the game and understand they’re not like AAs who mostly concede all power of decision-making to anglos.

These illegal immigrants, not undocumented, will surely start going after these positions of power.

i dont have any animosity towards immigrants, i dont want people rounded up like the gestapo. if you came here to work and find a better life, youre probably a good person. but you also arent automatically my country's problem :yeshrug: which is the direction this movement is headed, and im tired of it

the bottom line is that i dont give a fukk about people who are here illegally when our fellow citizens are unemployed, getting squeezed out of housing, poor, etc. and when the democrats shut down the government because the bill didnt protect DACA, i was disgusted. so these kinda stories are just not gonna hit any chords with me

Had an argument with my brother about this last weekend. How you going to allow 11 million people to rush through here illegally when their own countries wont allow Black Caribbeans to move there? How you going to push for 11 million Hispanics to come here when you would be heavy in your feelings if 11 million Whites or Arabs moved to an African country?

But that's what's happening though. And at some point the shyt is gonna go awry and someone's going to die over it.

The moment you take TAX from someone they DO become your problem. You will take the fruits of their labor but not give them a way to become full fledged members of your society....

Wait :jbhmm: that sounds REALLY familiar.

Also, the fact that they can't be citizens means they lose the ability to collectively bargain. Which is why you see their labor being exploited and pushing Americans out of jobs. I'm not for just blindly breaking the law, but for people who have contributed to our society there is NO reason for me deny them the same rights I have.

They have EARNED the right to be American...they didn't just ask for it.
