if you get "gems" from something Dame said you are really behind...
...he aint saying nothing new...or something you cant find in a basic business book/lecture.

So knowing all this, why are you here???

My man is MLK and Malcolm to dumb people. People need to learn how to think with their own mind and expand their sources of information, there's a million ways of achieving success and or happiness and or freedom. But these airheads need to listen to Dame and think that his way is the only and right way.

Good interview cause Dame's has a classic and hilarious way of saying things, that's all you need to say. At this point, his weirdo ass stans might be the only thing that's sad about him.

You're not successful enough to be condescending. Cut it out. That suit don't fit you

same sort of stuff as usual from Dame but I liked the bit about how people want to sit and watch him teach and berate others but they don't want to be the ones on the receiving end of it because they feel embarrassed.

I don't really care how people get motivation to do something but let's not act like they don't do the same with Jay.
someone wrote a book about the "financial lessons and aspects" of Jay's 4:44 album

because his interviews are funny...
...I dont hate the man...but the way some of yall act like he's a source of knowledge is concerning...
...like I said elsewhere in this thread...he's just finding new ways to shyt on people.

He cant claim to be "cake-aholic" anymore, so now he's mister "if you dont put up your own money youre not a boss"...
...it sounds smart to the uninitiated....
...but its bullshyt so he can passively aggressively shyt on Jay.

Damn near every "gem" he drops is just a passively aggressive way on shytting on people.

I can see that in Dame because I used to be that way...and its something im still working on.
Life has a way of humbling you though...im just shocked he hasnt learned his lesson.

I'd say that there's a difference. 1. It's entertainment/musical concepts 2. On the OJ song he's specifically talking big willie talk to drug dealers on most bars and separating those guys from dude's who make real money and that's just a side note of the song 3. He's talking about how he himself made a billion bucks and his own motivations. I'd assume that most people find these lines to be dope rap lines or thought provoking lines based on Jay's life, not lessons in finance. But there's nothing saying that the same people who stan Dame don't also stan Jay with the same dumb approach to they stanning.

So besides the differences I'd say a lot of what Jay says is also not "gems". When he says the line about "There's a disconnect we don't call that money over here", those money stacks is money to nearly everyone and it's not a gem, it's just a nice little diss.

When you go on youtube or the album thread on here, you don't see a bunch of "Wow this is advanced finance, I need to do this". They are quoting rap bars, just like they quote Rick Ross bars, Jeezy, Big, Kane or any other rapper with lifestyle bars.

This will probably be a good show....
...Mike is in a different point in his life, so he'll probably take the interview to a different place compared to how they normally go.

Already in this short clip Mike was questioning shyt Dame was saying and looking at him crazy.

This is actually really interesting to watch...their energies are sooooo different...its almost like Mike's calmness and lack of ego shows Dame's ego that much more.

Clue isnt hurting from money iirc.

He might of not wanted that for his life :manny: just cause you can doesnt mean you need to
Yeah but the point wasnt about Clue having money. The point he was making is Clue should have been putting on more people to make money.
