26-27.

Don't bury that Portland team.
I know I'm being harsh but requiring Dru Holiday and the negative energy towards them feels like they will be emotionally successful i.e, a field good story in 2 years when Dame returns similar to when Chris Paul got the Thunder to the playoffs.

even without the sentimental stuff, that team looks like they're gonna give teams fits defensively. Sharpe gotta take that next step offensively to carry them, but they'll be in the play-in mix with damn near everyone else.

Utah, Sacramento and Phoenix are the only three west teams you can flat out write off.

A 36 year old Dame coming off an Achilles isn't a guy you can rely on to be the main focus of a championship roster but he could undoubtedly be a big contributor to a title team, especially if he signed for such a small price.

You're assuming a lot.

There are a bunch of small guards in history that were bigger and/or younger than him when they tore their Achilles, that basically became fossils for the rest of their careers (if they even came back).

He might just only have enough left in the tank for a farewell tour. imo this is just Portland doing him a solid after basically saying fukk you and your Miami dreams a couple yrs ago.

Fair enough you observe the game in a different way.

How? He's getting paid to do nothing for a whole season. And he's already getting paid by Milwaukee there's no reason for him to fight Portland for a bigger contract, he's already getting paid premium
terrible for Portland

I ain't the biggest Dame fan, think he's pretty overrated and his addition to the NBA 75 was a disgrace - but he's still got ton of clutch performances in the playoffs and can absolutely be a contributor in a reduced role, even in his diminished state. You trying to tell me that having Dame as your 6th man for like Denver or the Knicks wouldn't be amazing?
Dame Lillard is Kevin Johnson with a youtube highlight stimulus
