Hell, I don’t think I’ve even heard one story about his dealings that even started the investigation in the first place. They mentioned the investigation and then fired him without saying what they ever found.

It’s no wonder that other GMs and FO people were up in arms about it and rightfully so.

They hit him with the military we lost confidence in your ability to lead this organization

How long before the McCollum/Simmons deal is made?

This still isn’t him wanting out of Portland, I don’t see how y’all are trying flip this. :skip:

He’s literally just forcing the organization to flip to cj, nurk and cov, ASAP.

Which is the same shyt we’ve saying all along. He’s literally got enough pull to get a GM out the paint.

@Leasy :umad:

Fam, people's reading comprehension is shyt on this site. And this is the Blazers' fault for not properly retooling the roster the past couple of summers.

When you’ve been the franchise player for a decade(and let’s be real, he probably their best player since Drexler, Roy didn’t have the years) you should have a lot of say so of what direction The franchise should be going if they intend to keep you.
Okay he's the best on their roster and he still wasn't able to get it done when they DID have better players around him, how does that magically make him qualified to speak on which direction to go in? He aint win shyt. Imagine a front office giving the keys to Russel Westbrook for the same reason :mjlol:Dame plays the same brand of stubborn, losing basketball.

Maybe if he was more vocal around the Carmelo situation better players would be willing to go out there in help him out :unimpressed:

Ehhh even then, Billups was well thought of around the league where he could have had his pick of almost any FO/HC gig. He just happened to choose the one with a disgruntled, moody superstar.

More times than not, it’s better to take a low profile gig where you get time and patience from the fan base to make your input on the team.

i think going into the season people would say blazers were a good organization with a top 10 player in dame. i haven't followed this story too closely so not sure when dame flipped but i remember dame making a post about wanting to stay with the team and earn a ring with the blazers.

looking back at it the cavs job might have been the one to take. they have a lot of young talent that play hard.
