If the Warriors make the playoffs with their current roster than that's a good indication that Dray was playing well. They definitely ain't making it cause of the great strength of Kelly Oubre, Weedplate Wiggins, and that bench.
He’s improved their team simply because of his IQ; that doesn’t mean he’s living up to expectations. And I’d argue Wiggins actually playing like an above average NBA player will be just as important as Draymond being on the floor.
I’m not inflating anything; they’ll be fighting for a bottom 3 seed (and if they’re lucky avoid a play-in game). Even with a healthy Klay, Draymond doesn’t make them anymore or a contender. He’s a shell of himself in the first year of a 100 million dollar deal. The Warriors have arguably the 3 worst contracts in the league (health depending for Klay).
