The way I'm thinking is we know in the continent of Africa and in the states there was colonization and slavery . Then why is it that, sometimes, dark skinned black dudes are the first ones to hate on dark skinned black women? Don't pretend that doesn't happen. Why do dark skinned black dudes make it a point to get with white women and light skinned black women? This is another occurrence that happens. Look at Tommy Sotomayor. He's clearly in pain from the way he's been treated because of his dark skin. You'll hear dark skin dudes make passive aggressive jokes and comments here and there, and all of this adds up to them being insecure. I'm not saying all and not even most, but we all know that one dark skinned dude who hates on light skinned dudes but lusts after light skinned women.

Because it seems a little unrealistic to say that having dark skin (or any feature) and getting teased for it as a child wouldn't affect you and make you insecure. All kids are insecure thats why they tease other kids, and those kids become insecure. This is natural. I didn't know that confident children existed; ones who weren't affected by their peers teasing them. But then again, this is The Coli where everyone is 6 foot 5 and makes 5 trillion dollars a month....
