its not poor whites. Dayton is 20 minutes away. And even if it was poor whites who gives a shyt, you know the odds of it being ALL white are impossible.
There’s nothing wrong with what he did. Most in rural areas biggest fear is the start of overdevelopment. He lives there for a reason and he doesn’t want the thing he enjoy being torn down. When one development happen many more follow. I had a nature trail behind my house. They knock all that down and added 60 homes. They’re knock more areas and squeezing anything they can in.

Look I'm just gonna say Dave Chappelle has become a total cornball and the most overhyped entertainer of all time. His stand ups since Chapelle Show have all been trash. I couldn't even bother to pretend like "DAVE THE GOAT!!! DAVE A LEGEND" after I watched it. Thought it was just mediocre. His little flirting around with the anti-lgbt alt-right was pathetic. Dude is a millionaire punching down at gay rights activists on Twitter. For what? Lots of people get offended at comedians and very few comedians respond because it's redundant. You'd spend all day trying to explain your jokes to everyone. But dude wanted to stage this whole showdown between him and offended transexuals. Why? For that Joe Rogan hustle of appealing to ignorant "non conformists" who are committed to standing by their bigoted views and being on the wrong side of history? That culture war been over. Who cares. Tell your jokes and keep it pushing. And his personality outside of the comedy stage is revealing him to be more and more of a "I got mine go get yours. stay off my lawn" bougie clown who looks down on others, doesn't actually give a fukk about black issues outside of some comedy writing, and retreats to white neighbors, communities and friends like Joe Rogan when it's convenient, than puts on this black comedian persona when it's time to shoot another trash Netflix special.
With hat said Killing em softly will always be an all time great stand up and Chapelle's Show is easily one of the greatest TV shows of all time. But this dude fell off. He needs to stop pretending he's anything unlike all his cac comedian friends and just live the life he wants.

So, people. Any receipts on Dave being against affordable housing?
The project allocated 2 acres out of 50 to affordable housing, with no deadline or commitment to start building those affordable homes.
The remaining 48 acres is designated to building property between 250k and 600k, above the average price of 215k in the area.
I don't know why this is being phrased as "He doesn't want poor people in his area" when that isn't the result of the planned project.
It amazes me how easy it is for white people to come across as saviors when robbing people blind. I guess it is the results of selling people a narrative of someone being a, what did a user say, comic book villain.

Several, too many cars and traffic, restaurants and their trash, parks torn down and less space for kids to play. I own a home and have a family. These things are important. If you live in michigan then i can name several cities that are over developed and cities in the midst of being over developed.
He lives in a rural area. That could very well be a fear. With more people requires more stores/restaurants etc. He’s already around poor people in that area. The people in that town are by no means rich, upper middle class or middle class. He’s definitely around some mostly poor folks

affordable housing impacts property values so you always gonna have some detractors. People better get used to it as we will see more of this as housing becomes out of reach for many.
