I love those a$$holes old shyt, I study stakes is high like it was the Bible

The mastering job is fukking terrible on the CD, I spent $10 at Best Buy to buy it and want to throw it out

They all sound Dusty, like generally not even just draw old school style but they just sound tired and no energy

I've been this disappointed in a album since Ghostface Killah twelve reasons to die

Also I hate all the Led Zeppelin biting, it's cool that's what they like, it's cool if you wanted to do like a rock project, but they should have just called something else and not DE LA soul

I gave it a spin yesterday and I fukks with it off first listen.

That Roc Marci verse, Pete Rock record, and the 7 minute rock instrumental stood out right off the bat. Heck, the first half was all fire.

The second seemed to have tailed off a bit but overall, shyt was dope!

Gonna give it another spin tomorrow.

Bob power did the mastering so i suspect anything you are hearing is purposeful.
I thought it sounded fine :yeshrug:
I don't know much about mastering and mixing, but as long as it doesn't sound like a Clue tape from the 90s :lolbron: I'm good.
