This is an amazing album. Everyone is saying it because it's true...that intro is amazing, something I've never heard done before. There really are no bad songs on here. The Pete Rock joints are dope, Premo came to play, NOTTZ had maybe my favorite beat on here. I love the way this album is sequenced too.

That is a super hot take because that Pete & Common was extremely well received not just by people on here from everyone who heard it. Not heard any negative feedback on it.

That was the lowest energy shyt I've heard in forever. Common is best with bouncy beats with strong grooves and pockets. It felt one note and all the tempos are the same/similar. Common couldn't save it. This sounds like Common.

I love this album. Album of the year easily. This shıt is smooth af.

Off first listen it’s a contender for AOTY. It’s long, but it didn’t feel like anything was unnecessary. Pete and Primo, wow. Palm of His Hands and Sunny Storms felt like vintage of each respectively. Nas flow on Run It Back, Black Thought dropping GOAT level verses, Common sounding like vintage Com, Q-Tip sounding sharp with his short verse. Pos just dropping grown man gems of wisdom throughout. The soulful/funky closing three tracks.

This album feels out of place in 2025, in the best way possible.
