Incredible run for hip hop this year. Even though the pop rap seems to be on the decline. The OGs have come back bringing that special feeling. Just the intro alone on this album got me all choked up. What a work of brilliance
It’s been the best and worst year of hip hop in a decade. Quality up mainstream influence and hits down
all I've been playing...very easy and satisfying listen all the way thru
finished listening while doing an hour on the treadmill, it made the workout go by smooth.

Chaos - The Album
Gave this a listen on way home yesterday. Its great. It reminds you of why De La were so great in the first place. Pos never really gets the credit he deserves as an introspective writer, storyteller etc.
Its a bit too long, but they have a few albums that are long and still classic. Some songs on the 2nd half got a bit boring but they might grow on me.

This is showing what older acts have over more modern ones. They have actual concepts to their songs.
A lot of what is even considered "good Hip Hop" nowadays. Is just someone talking shyt over a dope beat while mentioning lemon pepper wings. So the song is called Lemon Pepper Wings. It's really lazy in comparison to shyt like this.

Yea this album blows all the other mass appeal albums out of the water. It's not even close. Whoever mastered this album deserves a raise cause the production on here is crystal clear. Sonically incredible. This was exactly the sound I was hoping for. I'm glad we got a few Dave verses. Album ended perfectly.
Album of the year hands down. As good as Alfredo 2 and clipse were. They don't hold a candle to this. This is a 90's level of greatness.

This is a great album for anyone dealing with loss. It’s also reassuring to those that feel hip hop and negativity aren’t parallels.God's work to live amongst hurt
