It matters not if its a normal person or someone on social media.
The irony is the criticism came from dude wanting an authentic average experience, and finding out what that treatment was, by them tryna treat him better to get some clout based on his following. And not being able to because that’s not his M.O.

Kevonstage made a good point.

Can’t get by just impressing the right person at the right time. You gotta put your best foot forward every time

he a viral star. these people who fans of his review bomb establishments. He is no normal food critic. His opinion can change lives
So…we just point the finger about EVERYTHING IN LIFE, huh? Nope, the business isn’t responsible for making customers happy; blame the reviewers…

I sure never heard of Gordon Ramsey getting death threats when he gives restaurants horrible reviews

I swear people allow influencers to dictate real life too much. Regardless of how this dude reviews, why do so many make it so damn serious.

The algorithm decides who gets views and dont period.

I saw some young kid getting threats for saying Trill Burgers was overpriced White Castle.
Don't come back to Houston" "Disrespecting OGs gonna cost you", etc
Mind you those nikkas probably don't make a red cent off that place. Threatening people over something they don't even own is embarrassing

Exactly, they do not. The funny part is there were a lot of comments from locals agreeing with him from people that got sucked into the hype.

Found it

So basically, let's not ever critically discuss music, movies, food, books, essays, video games, clothing, or any other consumable good physical or not?

Reviews affect all those things livelihoods. It is LITERALLY just business. If you can't handle public scrutiny then go work at State Farm or something.

It matters not if its a normal person or someone on social media. We've all seen bad reviews go viral that are made by totally anonymous people. But on the flip side, there's plenty of restaurants that have been torn to shreds by educated, professional food critics and shut down because they didn't keep up with the standard. Word of mouth is one of the single most important elements to being a restaurateur, and to do that you gotta treat EVERYONE well. Regardless if they got social followings or not.

If I take my money and buy a Ferrari then get drunk and crash it into a wall two months later, I can't blame Ferrari for their car or my state for its roads. I CRASHED I because I was driving like a dikkhead and wasted my money. If you open a resturaunt and don't provide good service or don't provide good food...that's not the reviewers fault. That's on you.
You post like someone who has crashed a car into a wall.

I'm not going to unpackage any of your gibberish. The fact of the matter is influential people's views has a greater impact. This point is reinforced by influential people being able to make a lot of money from endorsement.

Someone with a following criticising someone business is going to do more damage than some regular person leaving their 2 cents. Trying to act as though they're the same means you're dishonest or stupid.

When your word has the power to negate all that someone has done, you'd have to be a fool to expect to go on about your day without any kind of push back. It isn't going to happen.

As much as you internet tough guys try an act as though everyone else is being soft, you're the one revealing your soft underbelly. It's like you've spent so much time on the internet that you've forgotten that some people play by a different set of rules, that people often move to violence when unsettled.

Ain't no "We"...

Comic book movie directors get death threats when a character's race is changed...

Video game studios get death threats when there is a delay in a video game.

Person receives death threats for speaking out on kids getting put on puberty blockers and having sex changes..

Folks just retarted and wanna act tough on the Internet, they ain't doing that bullshyt in real life.

So whats the difference between justified criticism and "taking bread out yo pocket"? All restaurants don't have good food or good service. That's a risk you take when starting one

You're not making any sense breh thats why people keep quoting the bs you post

Give it up breh. Some people really justify customers waiting for 2 hours for food, have small portions, and overcharge them and expect that to be the norm forever. :heh:
