It's not that cut and dry for starters, and if you and most people are aware it's an emblishment of the braggdicio nature of hip hop, then I don't see the harm in that.

Also what you consider negative is merely subjective especially when you take in to account as to why an artist make said music contains such content matter you seem bleak.

Also, on the flip side you could argue all the "happy, positive, go lucky" music you hear on other stations from other non- Hip Hop artists is an embellishment on the reality of others as well.

My point is that the minority are the most popular. Cole, Drake, and Kendrick have been the biggest rappers in the game the past few years and none of them sell negativity. So obviously the masses are supporting them which means its what people wanna hear

However the negatives outweigh the positives.
