The Lakers are in win now mode but they have to be careful that they don't trade to much away for a player like Boogie. But if they can get him just for the 2nd pick and nothing else they have to think real hard about pulling the trigger on the deal.

as a matter of fact, I don't see why we would need Cousins, at all. unless we get some crazy, "basketball reasons" type of deal.
Cokehead Jim Buss' time is on the clock, he has no time for a complete rebuild. Plus, 2017 is when the Lakers are supposed to be contenders and in the WCF come 2017 is the plan or is he supposedly going to be gone as head of basketball, they don't have time for rookies and youngins' to develop.

Lakers could try but I don't see it going down like that. I can see the Magic being dead set on keeping their pick, unless they're just sheep. I said that deal before because it literally helps all parties involved, the Lakers would just be the only team not guaranteed to be happy with the deal.
