New Hope For the HaveNotz
I agree with you he shouldn’t have ran again, what I’m saying is that Biden did his job in his first term, (bring us out of the pandemic, stabilize the economy, restore our standing in the world, and make politics boring again) what did he get as a reward? A historically low approval rating from an ungrateful electorate. His VP should have won by default similar to bush Sr and Reagani'd have to argue they did. it was never a question that biden was not fit to run for a second term. so they should have told biden that if he didn't announce he wasn't seeking reelection in 2023, they'd do it for him, and announce that the DNC would not be nominating biden for 2024. it could have been done, and it should have been done
there's zero point even talking about it at this point, because the scenario will never happen again. but it was a massive failure by the people in power. hell, even obama should have gotten involved, and forced biden not to run again
the very idea of biden running to be president from age 82 to 86 was ludicrous on its face from day 1. he could have been the best president in american history his first term; wouldn't even matter
