Ok, lets cut the bullshyt then.

If the choice is between JD Vance, Tucker Carlson, or some other continuation of MAGA, and Gavin Newsom what will you do? Will you sit out the election? Will you vote third party?

What will you do?
Are we voting for the Gavin who in his own words supported Shapiro and Kirk and ICE and AIPAC or the version of Newsom that is going to be the most progressive president ever despite everything that indicates otherwise?

Then the country is fukked and we will go further to the right in 2030 and 2032. I'm not sure if you reading different threads or something but we decided 100 post ago any democrat will win in 2028.
This is a fallacy, Trump won’t be running in 2032 so the Republicans wouldn’t more than likely have a unicorn candidate to run against Newsom.

Biden was historically unpopular because he was old as dirt, if he was 15 years younger he would have won re-election.

I’m sure you consider Obama mid but the Republicans answer to Obama was to actually go more liberal with Mitt Romney in 2012

And would have ran another moderate Republican in 2016 if Trump never entered the race.

Obama’s presidency runs counter to your narrative that liberal governance equals the establishment Republicans becoming more fascist.

For some reason this seems to be such a difficult question for some people to answer. Why, after a little over a year of Trump 2.0 is perplexing, but I think we all can start to safely understand why it is for a select few.

You’re voting for the Gavin who presumably won’t have his own masked police force shooting citizens in the face for exercising their constitutional rights to complain about him being on a pod with Ben Shapiro.

That's presuming a lot/too much given all of his pandering to the people that feel the shootings are justified. Hopefully he's not the nominee so people aren't forced to make those choices.

I'm seeing a lot of words but no clear answers. Will you sit the election out or vote third party? Let's stop mincing words and own our decision making. Presumably we're all adult males.

Given his actual governing record (to my knowledge) doesn’t involve utilizing masked, armed California men and women to dole out life altering justice as he sees fit, I think it’s a safe presumption that’s the Gavin you would be voting for

Unfortunately we as adults live in a world where we are given difficult and less than desirable choices, often on a daily basis. We are asking what you would do when presented with one.

I think they are rudely abusing their keyboards when they can just simply say “3rd party” and KIM

I will not unconditionally vote for the Democratic candidate regardless of their policy positions. If Newsom is running on a platform where he promised to not prosecute Trump admin members in the name of "peace and moving the country forward" something like that would be a non-starter just as an example.

Biden was historically unpopular because he was old as dirt, if he was 15 years younger he would have won re-election.
Do you think if everything was exactly the same except Biden's brain wasn't pudding he still beats Trump? He seemed fairly unpopular before his deterioration became public. Anyone besides Trump I think you're probably right, but people were quick to exchange one pudding brained president for another because he's cruel and WI punish their enemies.

yes, 2016 Biden would be able to narrativize and defend his administration’s positions better to the American people. He would also be able to make better decisions since he would cognitively be all there.

Prime Biden was very charismatic, he would have been able to counter Trump’s podcast tour with his own too

I think the democratic nominee feeling like there's a chance that people that are ostensibly on their side may not vote for them, so maybe their platform should be formulated in a ways that acknowledges those people's concerns is healthier than the expectation that they'll get every center-left vote just because they're not Trump or a Trump ally.
Our political class hates democracy

cowardly posting this is
Curious that people that have such defined and principled opinions on a variety of different issues, seem to be without one when faced with the prospect of a 40 year old fascist enabler taking over for another 4 more years (likely would most certainly be the end of free and fair elections at that point anyway so not actually just 4)

These people are willing to hand Peter Thiel keys to the country just because Newsom won’t promise enough free stuff
