This right here. I'm sure Anderson didn't think the punch Weidman threw would have had the effect it did, but the awkward position he was in and the fact that Weidman followed up put the nail in the coffin.

seemed like he saw the punch coming and tried to roll with it :yeshrug:

the shyt was just odd...even before the fight. Crazy number of people including fighters were picking Weidman. The odds were only about 2-1 on Anderson. Dana White made a point of announcing Anderson would get an immediate rematch if he loses and then the post fight interview...shyt just smells bad :merchant:

Nah he just fukked up. Weidman didn't even prove he's a better fighter he just took advantage of Silva clowning too much. He should have approached Weidman the way he did Chael the second time around. Go for the kill/counter after the first mistake.

This. Silva went overdid the showing off and just got caught. Sad thing is he already had weidman beat mentally and just had to pick him apart.

Silva took a dive. The hit wasn't shyt, any hit in slow motion looks powerful :stopitslime:
In regular speed the punch is a tap. Thats not even important. The interview afterwards tells you the real story.

He has 10 fights left, he's not gonna fight for a title or a rematch?

Dana White doesn't want the middleweight division to be on hold while Anderson goes on his farewell tour in a Roy Jones like fashion. I expect him to go after GSP and JBJ before he rides off into the sunset :salute:
Vitor Belfort Issues Statement In Regards To Anderson Silva, Dana White - FightLine.com
I have proven myself over and over. It seems that Anderson wants to go on and do super fights or whatever. How can he think of doing a super fight right now when he has a contender of my caliber waiting to compete for the belt. I have no problem with super fights, as long as they don't tie up the belt from other great contenders who deserve a chance to accomplish the greatest moments of their career.
What super fights could he be talking about :leon:
Silva was trying to push dude over like it was Hogan giving props to the Ultimate Warrior after there match at wrestlemania

JBJ/GSP, we coming for yooooou nikka!!!

Let's get to the root of all this shall we?

If he hadn't just got KTFO by a white american then there wouldn't be any of this talk.
