2k got lazy af. The generic players used to have different names and different looks. Now they have the same face, they’re all the same height, wear headbands and long socks :mjlol:

Isiah had joe from mcneese st, an airport janitor who did time, aguirre and a buncha role players/castoffs.

#11 did the most with less

That team had 4 Hall Of Famers

The Bad Boy Pistons were deep in talent.

Joe Dumars was an elite SG and also one of the best defensive guards in the game. Michael Jordan said he was one of the toughest defenders to play against.

Dennis Rodman won 2 straight DPOY awards. Adrian Dantley was a HOFer and great scorer, they traded him for another terrific scorer in Mark Aguirre. Bill Laimbeer was a 4 time All Star, one of the best outside shooting big men in the game, and one of the best rebounders in the game.

They had one of the best benches in the NBA. An example of how good their bench was when when they almost came back against the Lakers in 88’ Game 7. They were down 15 and they managed to cut it down to 2 or 3, thanks to their bench.

So when Kobe was teamed up with the likes of Smush Parker, Chucky Atkins, and Chris Mihm and averaging 35...a lot of his fans were both bragging on him and complaining about the roster.

I used to say that’s exactly what he wanted (maybe not to that degree but you get the picture). If not he woulda been in the front office riding for Shaq

Lol yea lets keep a breaking down shaq who wanted to coast all the time cuz he had me and knew he would get all credit in the end while i did everything.

Im sure kobe wanted help too but yall nikkas acting like that shaq shyt wasnt gonna end up with one of them gone are funny.

You forgot 2 time All-Star Antawn Jamison that one year winning Sixth Man Of The Year with Dallas in 03-04, 4 time All-Star Shawn Marion, 2 time All-Star Caron Butler and Monta Ellis as well.

Aguirre? The #1 draft pick who was averaging 25 ppg in 7 seasons prior to joining Detroit and who led Dallas to a game 7 with the lakers in the WCF in '88. That aguirre?

I got Wilt as the GOAT big man, having him over Kareem and Hakeem technically automatically takes them out the debate for me, even though I might have Kareem as high as #3 all-time
Hakeem in his second year took down Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Byron Scott Lakers in 5 tho :damn:
If Ralph Sampson could've stayed healthy :wow:
How do you have Wilt, a physical freak of nature, who played in a :trash::trash: era over Kareem, Olajuwon who went up against elite big men they whole career

Patrick Ewing gotta be on here. Just off the top of my head ewing only played 3 players in his prime that made the all star game

starks- 94, one and only time
Oakley- 94, one and only time
Mark jackson- 89, one and only time
Does a prime Ewing win in 99’?

Prime Ewing of course we win that series. But Spurs fans probably gonna say if they had prime robinson they would still win. Which I would agree.

He started the 98-99 season strong, then got injured around the 20 game mark and came back better but after the 2nd injury, it went downhill for him. He played pretty bad the first 2 rounds

And Wilt didn't play Bill Russell, as good of a defender at the 5 as anyone to ever play the game? :dahell:
And back then, there were less teams so you played the good players more often. Wilt played Russell 12 times during the 1962 season :damn: that's like if today you had 3 Bill Russell quality guys in your own conference or if there wee 6 of them waiting for you in the opposite conference
And there were other good centers of the era like Willis Reed, Walt Bellamy, Nate Thurmond, etc. who throughout his career Wilt would match up with countless times.

meanwhile in the finals wilt your goat was settling for being the 5th highest scorer on his own team and letting maga Rick Barry drop 40ppg and run away with the chip
