I always thought the JZ Train thing was a reach cuz Marcy is literally right next to the G Train and like a 20 minute walk from the J Train (well 10 minutes in NY walking speed but still :heh:) you ain't gonna be on the J train often over there :russ:

This was for a BLAZE magazine article many many years ago lol, Yeah Jay a man of many cloths.
Dawg are you on the spectrum or something????

Crown fried chicken is a hole in the wall chicken joint you can find on basically any block in NYC but especially the poor places. shyt is a minimum wage job not some glamorous money making opportunity. Not a single thing you're saying in this thread is making sense, just pure schizo posting

I don't think Jay ever said he got his name from the train lines. Fans made assumptions and made that up. He did say the 'jazzy' line. Which you are right OP is just cover for biting Jaz O.
Jay did his thing in the street but I think his street accomplishments are exaggerated. But many people say he had money already when he started to pop with In My Lifetime and Dead Presidents. Check his first few videos when he is on that bum label Payday. They are high budget for some guy on a label like Payday
what street accomplishments did Jay win?

he sold drugs and and made money

what are these exaggerated accomplishments lol

The point was made that it strikes as somewhat unusual to have worked at a low income chicken restaurant when Jay's dough boy timeline in the raps say otherwise.

  • Chicken restaurant
  • London sabbatical in '88 '89 during the crack zenith '(when I was pushing weight, back in 88'???)'
  • Testimony from local knockabouts that he was a square (Bags)
The chicken restaurant, granted, was when he was 17, so that gets a pass. The London soiree, perhaps not.

There's holes in the narrative, you must admit.

At the end of the day he's embellished his unlawful escapades something pretty, he's a drug dilettante, but perhaps a great raconteur.

Even if he wasn't 17 why are you acting like people with part-time minimum wage jobs can't possibly sell drugs lmao

And as cladyclad said, the article was a "What-if," the preise basically if Jay never became Jay

Whoever else doubts the authenticity of the article you can buy the magazine on EBay for about a 100 dollars.
They didn't say the article didn't exist, they're saying that the article was fictional. It was one of several scenarios they presented for if Jay-Z never became Jay-Z so they photographed him in different situations

They can have as many jobs as they want, the narrative in the raps said to the contrary though? Say otherwise?

I blocked Cladyclad years ago for being a dikk sucking fakkit that loves the attention.

Don’t explain it to him

He thinking he blew a hole in a story and ripped the mask off on some

Scooby doo in the mystery machine episode

:russ:

Like if that was true more people from Brooklyn would have said that by now

Dehaven would have had pics and pay stubs as much as he tried to “expose” Jay

Doom, Badu, Dead Prez to an extent also followed the teachings of Malachi Z York.

Ended up coming across the fact that 21 Savage's family also was studying York's teachings

Sucks cause dude was pedo but he had a lot of power in the black community. Could have used it as good and to enlighten others but he abused it.

Also here is a video with Mf Doom in his KMD days in the Ansaaru Allah Community

Right, perhaps they based themselves at the Georgia compound before the FEDS brought him in?
