my dude, them beats is wack

Renegade is ok, but it was classic spitting from Eminem and Jay that made it
GRODT.... Em had the worst beats on there
Moment of Clarity, The Cross were garbage soulless beats
On Fire was ok, but that blew cos it was Banks coming from the G Unit buzz, he could've rapped over anything

Eminem used to be an elite emcee... but always been trash with the beats. Dude is right, if a no name producer made that shyt, it would never pop
Man, please. Eminem had a run early in his career where he was making some tough beats. I already stated my case. You say “soulless beats” cause he white. Renegade ain’t just about two great MC’s spitting. That beat is FIRE.

Nah my dude, I don't say soulless because he's white.

Alchemist
Statik Selektah
Mike Dean
Rick Rubin

These guys made beats with soul.

Eminem beats always sounded thin to me. Even at the age when I used to fukk with his raps (12-16) I used to think his beats were plastic and cheap sounding.

Not saying everyone has to be as cinematic as Justice League (2/3 white) who I fukks with..... but his beats sound sparse, formulaic and insubstantial, IMO.

I respect your view.... each to his own.... but it surprises me cos I never really heard anyone say they fukk with Em's beats like that. Even his stanboys don't really be claiming that.

At that time when Kanye was actually producing his own beats, he said Em had the best drums in the business.

Post one of your own beats.
To be fair, he didn’t say that. He did try to steal some drums from Em’s studio lol. I’ve got the Scratch Magazine article right here.

I think this is mixing two quotes. He said Dilla had the best drums in the business, and he tried to take some Em drums before security stopped him.

But he didn’t say Em had the best drums in the game.

Em didn't make "On Fire" Kwame made that beat.

Eminem TRIED to take credit for that beat. (As usually what white people do to black people's hard work)
Yep. Same with Many Men. On Fire and Many Men…Em added a few little keys in the final seconds of each beat as they ride out. But yeah, you’re right. He didn’t make either beat at all.

Always thought "In the club" by 50 sounded more like an Eminem beat than a Dre beat

I remember laughing about how awkward Banks looked in this video back in the day:russ:
:dead:

Banks has always been camera shy but it's even more obvious in those old videos. Dude just wanted to rap. It's pretty obvious he hated being in front of the camera like that.
