Did New York go crazy for the club banger Eminem produced for Lloyd Banks??

Eminem back then 99-05ish was at least producing on his own and if he wasn't, he was adding something somewhat positive to production. Fast forward to 2011-2012 and he ruined most of the beats by his additional production on Slaughterhouse's sophomore album and ruined the whole album/group with his/Paul Rosenberg's input:snoop:

Edit. To the point that Royce who started producing like 15 years after Eminem surpassed him as a producer.

This is the best Eminem produced song since like 06-07. And he can thank Horseshoe GANG and Crooked for making a beat that simple sound good.

Rotten Apple was an underrated Album too, shame how that Post Game Run of GUnit turned out:francis:
I listened to Rotten Apple recently and it was definitely treated a little rough, IMO. I guess it kind of failed as a commercial album follow up to Hunger For More, but for the most part it's filled with a lot of really tough street joints. It's the kind of album that I think would've been received a lot better if it had dropped a few years later and/or just been an indie release.

This was a fun videoshoot aside from, when I got heated and almost got into it with Havoc, cuz he cut me when I was next to get my haircut in the trailer. Mf was off that Henny and I was like :gucci:
Wow. I've heard some wild stories about Hav's drinking problems. That's wild that a Coli brethren had some issues 1st hand with him.

I saw Mobb Deep twice live, and the 2nd time was in early 2013 right after they'd gotten back together after the break-up, and P was promoting Albert Einstein. Hav seemed pretty drunk on stage, and it definitely looked to me like he was giving P the side eye when P was hyping up the album to the crowd, and when P did a couple songs off the album, Hav pretty much just stood there and seemed cold. But then Hav performed a couple solo joints off of his upcoming solo album (I think it was 13 or 13 Reloaded) and P was being a good hype man for Hav.

Regardless, Hav was obviously drunk, and it kind of made me sad to see, but I always assumed they ironed out their differences over the next few years before we lost P.

Id say that Second Run of Albums(Massacre,Buck The World,Rotten Apple)were better than the First Run,Banks and Buck shouldve had Plats on them too

Agree about the platinum thing but no way on those second albums being better than the first. Probably seven tracks would have to be removed from The Massacre for it to even come to GRODT. Straight Outta Cashville may be the best G-Unit release out of all of them and has the highest replay value.

Buck The World had crazy quality, that album was geat front to back.

Rotten Apple was mid though, songs like "Ice Man" had no place being on a Banks album.

Banks debut was him rapping on Em production, I guess he really liked him as a MC and gave him a few beats. And his last album he had a Em verse.
