which is a waste of time imo.
There is no excuse for laziness. The guy is going to fail out more than likely. A 2.0? The guy wasn't doing anything, not even the bare minimum. He should prove himself, which is the best option and can open more doors than applying now.
For instance, he gets a 4.0 for two years at a CC and does extra-curricular work, he will have a shot at a good school if he does that instead of applying now to a low-end college that will eat him up in loans.
