My college professor in the US was like woah, so your grading system is very specific

You can get into college with a low GPA. The thing is that you may not get as much scholarships to support others cost that you can not afford to pay out of pocket. You may just end up getting the pell grant. I know people who went to college with 2.0 unweighted GPA's.They did not get enough scholarships(barely if any to be honest) so they took out loans. If you have a low GPA, or you have zero interest in taking out a dime in loans you are better off going to a community college first and then transferring. You can get great scholarships as a transfer student. You just have to know where to apply.

The best thing to do is google the school that you would like to attend and look up their transfer scholarships. For instance this is University of South Alabama transfer scholarships for students coming from out of state

• For community college students enrolling in the fall semester.

• Provides $3,000 per year scholarship for up to two years.

• Minimum GPA of 3.50 with at least 48 earned hours from their two-year institution.

• Must apply for admission to USA and have official college transcripts mailed to the USA Office of Admissions by June 15.

• Fill out the Transfer Scholarship Application.

Here are some websites that will assist in finding the schools that you want to transfer to. A lot of students just apply to schools they hear instead of looking into the other schools.

Click the link that has your major with programs following. Since I am a speech pathology major I would click speech pathology programs.

I remember I got accepted to Louisiana-Lafayette with a 2.3 gpa. They made me write an essay but my plan was going to CC and transferring to LSU or Tulane. I basically just turned in a rough draft where i was just rambling and got accepted.

2.0 is pretty low breh unless you're an all-state athlete or got ridiculously high ACT/SAT scores.
Even if you get in you'll have a hard time getting any merit-based scholarships or even qualifying for em.
Best bet is to do CC, you don't even have to do a full 2 years. Just kill it for a couple semesters and you'll be set as a transfer student.
