Who didn't sound like Kane and Rakim back then? I think I could also hear a little LL in his voice. I'll have to go back and listen to it on headphones instead of phone speakers

He has a song 'Girls" where he really sounds like LL. I thought when he started working with Chad Elliot doing Born Loser and Catching the Same Hell (92/93), he had a LL/Kane hybrid thing going .

I think he found his own sound around 94 when the original Make A Move came out. That's when he started street storytelling, which he is one of the goats at.

Bronchitis fukked up his ability to flow like that. His voice change was a combination of smoking cigs and age. He talks about his flow being much better back then on his One More Road to Cross DVD. He even played some of his old freestyle with Percee P on there where he was wildin out with the flow and lyrics.
