Critical Condition is dope. Wonder how it would sound with his deeper voice
He sounds waaayyy more like the X we know, here.
The first song in the OP sounds like a unfinished Rakim song.
I'm just glad X was smart enough to drop that Rakim style of rapping and found his own style becuz that earlier style of rapping was extremely played out (nationwide) by the time The Chronic came out.
I noticed post Chronic nationwide (NY, The South, West) a lot of people's original styles developed. They cut that 80s umbilical cord completely
Unstoppable Force, tho
Dude ate that shyt
@FreshAIG I think Kool Moe Dee coulda lasted longer if he stopped rapping like he was in 1986 all the time
His homeboys shoulda kept their ears to the streets and let him know to stop rapping like that haha
LOL Moe Dee was nice but he kept the same flow too long. It was over and nobody told him
That's fukked up
I see why DMX is such a Rakim stan, just another on the list
I think Moe Dee overachieved
his rap career success is one of the most unlikely events ever, if you think about it.
He was a contemporary of Grandmaster Cas and Melle Mel, yet he launched a second act when both of those guys had already passed the torch.
Yep. In his book he referred to him as “K-Stole It”
It’s crazy how different he sounds I would nvr be able to guess.
Off topic but not off topic I saw Percee P's name and I had to google to see where he's at now
Still killin' it
I wish he did another project with Madlib
wow thats DMX?
That sounds like straight up Rakim.
