Then the same must be true for the oppression Black men face at the hands of white men. God made you the weaker men that white and other men can dominate. If you think that tripe is true, I don't have anything further to say to you. I don't agree with it, but at least your logic is consistent. If you disagree with that, then rethink this whole post you made and try again.

I am the best PartyHeart I can be at this very moment :queen: But I'm always improving and growing. Right now a group of about 10 of us, Black women and our spouses, are all going to try to eat organic only and eliminating processed foods and refined sugar for a quarter. Its just in our small circle, but we want to be healthier and eat cleaner and see how it effects our lives, so we can find a way to get that message to the community in a replicable way.

I think @Knuckles Red has done a good job of giving some brief insights to the privilege Black men have over Black women within the community though. Read through his posts. But if you really want to know and understand, you'll do your own research from there because it leads directly to the oppression we face. That's if you take the Black women's plight seriously and actually care to improve our lives in the ways that you can as a Black man.

You cant be this dense

Biologically women and men are different

In every race men are stronger than women

Men have a penis women have a vagina

Women have estrogen men have testosterone

How are those differences equivalent to laws being made saying that black people cant own property in America

There was also a time in human history when black men were the leaders of the world so historically black men have ruled the planet longer than white men

But women have always been women

Stop trying to equate the chemical and biological differences between men and women

To systemic oppression due to race

Its intellectually dishonest

Furthermore i cant stop a woman from doing whatever she wants

You are independent and strong i am not your daddy and you dont owe me shyt remember

Me being physically stronger is irrelevant and should not make women feel oppressed

You guys just like to project your insecurities on the black man

Rapper objectifies BW, they bytch

Rapper replaces them with mixed race women, they bytch
Yo when I was an OD youngin I specifically remember Black Women complaining about Rappers "degrading" and "objectifying" them in Music Videos. But then when a Rapper puts a bunch of White Women or Non-Black Women in his videos they get butthurt and complain about that too. No matter what you do as a Black man you will still have a large number of BW there to complain about your actions. shyt is infuriating.

But that sounds dangerously close to Black feminism, and they are angry at that too.

Truth is, you'll never get Black men on here to admit the problem because they are resounding misogynists. The oppression that Black women face at the hands of Black men is oppression they think Black women deserve because we are women. So they see our oppression simply as every woman's lot in life, that's why they are quick to bring up other races of men's misogyny too, as if that makes it better or more acceptable. For them, anti-Blackness, even though practiced for centuries and true the world over = wrong, but sexism, even though practiced for centuries and true the world over = a fact of life women need to get over and accept.

Black misogynists are also very good at making any oppression Black women face a result of her own choice, while at the same time exerting the idea that Black men's choices are inconsequential because of white supremacy. For instance, gang banging and criminal activity by Black men that leads them to death or jail is a result of systemic oppression by white people, but Black teenage pregnancy and Black single motherhood are just bad choices by Black women. Even though these things are obviously connected.

Meanwhile, white men using the exact same arguments and tactics against Black men to prove their inferiority is what they claim that the entire community, including the Black women they view as inferior, should focus on to move forward. And they screech about divisiveness whenever anybody refuses to accept any part of their identity that isn't Black, and male, and straight as inferior. It'd be funny if the hypocrisy wasn't so poisonous and tearing the community apart.

All the arguments for black men "oppressing" black women have been soundly refuted. There is no oppression black women go through in terms of violence because black men suffer more violence. There is no oppression in terms of epithets because black women also throw epithets. The list goes on. If women are mad at their position in life, it makes no sense to attack men like we are the ones who decide to make women what they are. Society did not make women smaller than men, nature did. So blame nature not black men. Doing anything else, including call black men who disagree you "misogynists" and dismissing everything the say accordingly, is ridiculous.

We're not talking about black teenage pregnancy or black single motherhood, we're talking about oppression. Stop changing the goal posts.

Furthermore whites don't use these arguments at all. But we'll get to white's arguments when we're talking about whites. For now, just put forward your arguments and stop trying to equivocate with others'. That is fallacy, not valid argument.

Black women oppress themselves half their mental issues stem from them feeling like the world hates the way they look. Black men aren't telling black women not to get jobs or holding them back from getting jobs or an education. We don't opress them in any way shape or form. Women blaming men for their problems is essentially women being women they're hard wired to think that way and accept no responsibility which is why men have come to an agreement that women are weak/ irrational, of course they're capable of doing a lot in terms of achieving but they're still incompetent to some degree.

Black men never ruled anything without Black women. Moorish society was not built by Black men alone. Yet another comparison between your behavior and whites, you all try to erase Black women's contributions to Black society.

I was talking about black men as a collective. Social oppression describes relationships between categories of people. Not individuals.

Describe the socially oppressive relationship between the category that is black men and black woman please.

- Is it like if a black woman goes to a party and sees a black man there, she's like "oh shyt there is a black man here, I better watch how I conduct myself or he might make it so that I can never go out to a party again."?

-Or is it moreso along the lines of "I can't speak in the presence of black men, I have to know my place."?

-Or are black women terrified to date out in America due to the backlash and possible ostracizing from the black men?

That's what I'm asking for when I say examples. These are the kinds of things that happen in socially oppressive dynamics.

I'm not sure it's really that widespread in America tbh. I'll put it this way, I'm a black man, what power do i have (strictly based on my race and gender) to opress tbe likes of Beyonce or Rihanna? Or even your gf or your mother?

Perhaps you help me understand more clearly

No laws and shyt like that help white men oppress black people its not an inherent thing like the chemical and biological differences between men and women

Im not erasing black womens contribution im just poiting out that there are differences in the contribution

Im going out on a limb here but the majority of the warriors and builders in the

Moorish
Mali
Ethiopian
Egytptian

Kingdoms were men

Although there may have been some great women military strategists they were still sending men to do the heavy lifting

The difrerences bewteen men and women are not a form of oppression and if it is god is the one who oppressed women

As far as you propping up the white man and saying that he is inherently stronger because he is dominating the planet now is more based on his lack of integrity and ability to lie steal and kill

Clearly these are not traits we want to see in a black lead system so stop praising being a underhanded crook

Black people dont have to face a threat of genetic annihilation due to race mixing

So we probably had our guards down. Inbthis regard

If we had the recessive gene we wouldbhave probably raced to steal all the resources too

But black people have an abundance mentality therefore havent been as ruthless about our survival

here's a vid of the BM oppressing BW :ohhh:

Look at this interaction. I'm not saying the black American woman shouldn't stand up for herself because she's a woman or that the black American man should have done anything but ignore her (he actually reacted marvellously well), but is this the behavior of an oppressed woman? I don't think so. You know not what oppression is, @PartyHeart . You have never to the 3rd world and seen real women oppressed. You insult women by even implying such.

So if White Women and Non-Black women are in a Rapper's videos and they have no problem with dancing/twerking why exactly do you care? If those women don't feel degraded and objectified then how is it affecting you?

Who is to say they don't feel degraded and objectified? Where are you getting that from?

No laws and shyt like that help white men oppress black people its not an inherent thing like the chemical and biological differences between men and women

Laws aren't even tangible things. Be logical here and answer the question. What chemical and biological superiority do white men have over you that allows them to dominate over you? You justify it for men over women, I want to hear you flesh out the argument for white men over Black men.

Im not erasing black womens contribution im just poiting out that there are differences in the contribution

Im going out on a limb here but the majority of the warriors and builders in the

They weren't.

LOL, the underlined sounds just like a poor white person who would use this exact same example to explain why he/she doesn't have white privilege.

"Describe the socially oppressive relationship between the category that is black men and black woman please."

It is a relationship of dominance and subordination. One in which the dominant group benefits from the systematic abuse of the subordinate group. Similar to how white privilege comes at the expense of black people, male privilege comes at the expense of women. This is why it doesn't matter if you are not rich like Beyonce or Rihanna in the same way that it doesn't matter if a white person isn't as rich as a black person.
