Of course, people think there's artists that are greater than MJ. It's an opinion. Threads like these exist out of insecurity. It's asking if anyone else agrees to validate their own opinions. This thread is just another covert Beyoncé thread to justify his opinion of Beyoncé being the GOAT. Someone who's secure in their opinions could care less about who agreed or disagreed.

i will say that MJ really was a one of a kind singer. his voice has so much power, emotion and range. so much versatility... plus he was the gawd of adlibs.

also his dancing, his performing, his VIDEOS... were all revolutionary for their time, which further elevated his stardom.

but anyone who was alive during MJ's prime reign knows full well that no one since has really come close. kanye west, beyonce... on their best day was not as famous or as culturally powerful as michael jackson. he was THEE guy, unquestionably.

OP... You have to understand how these dumb ass ppl in this world work...They hear an artist that's undoubtedly great, for their time/era, then they NEVER acknowledge the fact that there will always be someone better, eventually. They can't accept the fact that the art of music advances. Yes MJ is one of the greats, but just like the cases of Pac and BIG, there are better artists out there, but people have very bad nostalgia and have a hard time disagreeing with what they're told or don't want to argue with the masses.
