Kanye west, Eminem, Jay z, 50 cent were all as big as tupac was when he was alive.
Jay Z? NOWHERE near...50 Cent was always seen as a Tupac wannabe. ..Eminem would tell you he's mostly successful because of the pop crowd fans that made him and he is a Tupac stan to the fullest....Kanye West is nowhere near the BIG or Pac level when they RAN the game. BIG saved NY rap when Death Row was kicking NY's ass. You got to be kidding me:laugh:

responses like this are why OP made this thread. i'm sure you could find instances of people fainting at justin bieber concerts also.

i will say that MJ really was a one of a kind singer. his voice has so much power, emotion and range. so much versatility... plus he was the gawd of adlibs.

also his dancing, his performing, his VIDEOS... were all revolutionary for their time, which further elevated his stardom.

but anyone who was alive during MJ's prime reign knows full well that no one since has really come close. kanye west, beyonce... on their best day was not as famous or as culturally powerful as michael jackson. he was THEE guy, unquestionably.
:what:sooooooo what the fukk was the point of you quoting me for???? everybody fukkin knows Mj special vocally and dance wise, i reiterated why the man will stand the test of time with his record sales and stage presence....:martin:

I guess because you behaved in a way as if to suggest it is blasphemous to suggest MJ wasn't as good as his legacy implies on the strength that he sold a lot of records and he made people faint.

His music is somewhat exaggerated (Bad to me, is his worse album), but his performance ability and his voice is not...

Michael Jackson on the Bad Tour is fukking legendary.

Michael Jackson during the 70s with the Jacksons performing live is fukking legendary.

His music videos are legendary.

Only people that are on MJ's level when performing is James Brown and Elvis
Prince >>>>>

Prime Prince was James Brown fused With Hendrix on steroids....
Prince was playing the drum, piano, guitars, dancing and singing LIVE...

Mike music was great, but what pushed him over the edge was the dancing in, and how he revolutionized music videos.... that still stand the test of time.

We all know he's a great performer and made great music, but why does everyone act like there aren't just as good of performers out there, or better singers? Peoples trump card with Jackson is his record sales in the 80's. Honestly I think he greatly benefited from that specific time frame and era, just Clinton did in the 90's.

YES MICHAEL WAS GREAT, but to act like there aren't others on his level is crazy

Hell no
